Himanen will perform at a special concert at Harjun Mori on Saturday, July 4!

Himanen (Vesa Himanen) is a singer-songwriter who has made his way from Kainuu to Kallio; his Finnish rock music takes listeners from the heart of the countryside to the echoes of asphalt shores. Himanen’s discography includes one album, the EP *Tuulessa kaikki liikkuu*, and several singles, the most recent of which is “Sydänolento.” More new music is on the way later this year.

Himanen will kick off the solo show at 8 p.m. with a set lasting about half an hour, featuring
intimate, stripped-down versions of his songs—as well as new,
unreleased tracks.

After a short break, at 9:00 p.m., the full electronic lineup of Himanen
will take the stage—the band is set to play some knee-bending Finnish rock. The band’s set
will also feature previously unreleased material.
